Overview
The Mushroom Castle is a huge place. Those who are within the levels of 30-38 may enter, and so enter the storyline of the Mushking and his daughter. It is a decent place, and if you start the quests from level 30, finishing all the quests should make you end up at level 35 or so. Although the time taken might be monotonous, it would be "better" than training, and you get a weapon/magic attack glove in the end.Most of the quests require you to defeat hundreds of the monsters inside and outside of the Mushroom Castle. Monotonous, but it can kill time. Some quests also require you to get hundreds of a certain monster's spoils.
The whole idea of the story here is that the Mushroom Castle has been overrun by King Pepe's army of Pepes. The former key mushroom people are now on the outskirts of the castle, along with the sick Mushking. Not only that, but King Pepe wants to mary the Mushking's daughter, Princess Violetta, to his idiot son. Everything is going haywire, and that's where YOU come in.
The Head Security Officer's brother, James, is also lost somewhere in the castle, who has grown in the castle for all his life.
The Mushroom Castle entrance can be accessed by going to Henesys, going left to go up the wooden stairs at the tree fort, and pressing up in the portal. Once there, go to your bottom left to enter the big vine portal in the corner, next to the mushroom house.

You enter Mushroom Castle from Henesys.
The entrance should look like this:
Level (30-38) you get a quest. When you press ok, you will be teleported to the dungeon. If not so, just go into the tree in Henesys and walk left.

About Mushroom Castle

Pre-quests
From level 24 to 36, there are pre-quests that tell you more about Mushroom Castle. I recommend that you complete them within the level range of level 24-30, heading to Ariant right after completing the Sleepywood ones. These quests have many parts, and offer reasonable EXP upon completion.
Strange Mushrooms
Requirement: Level 24 to 34, all users
General Area: Sleepywood
- Part 1
NPC: The Rememberer
Task: Collect 30 Horned Mushroom Caps.
Reward: 7000 EXP
Notes: You can gather these easily in Ant Tunnel from Horny Mushroom, preferably the area near the portal to Sleepywood. (or Mini Dungeon)

Task: Slay 80
Horny Mushrooms.Reward: 8000 EXP
Notes: You can hunt these mushrooms in the Ant Tunnel (or Mini Dungeon).

Task: Collect 20 Tainted Horny Mushroom Caps.
Reward: 8000 EXP
Notes: These drop as quest items from Horny Mushroom at a decent rate.

Task: Slay 80 Zombie Mushrooms.
Reward: 8000 EXP
Notes: You can hunt these mushrooms in the Ant Tunnel (or Mini Dungeon).

Task: Collect 100 Charm of the Undead.
Reward: 8000 EXP
Notes: You can gather these easily in Ant Tunnel from Zombie Mushroom, preferably the area near the portal to Sleepywood. (or Mini Dungeon)

NPC: The Rememberer
Task: Collect 20 Sound Charms and select the correct sound.
Reward: 8000 EXP
Notes: The Sound Charms drop as quest items from Zombie Mushroom at a low rate. The Rememberer will play a sound. Listen carefully and select the one that best represents the death sound of Zombie Mushroom. Note that if you choose the wrong sound, you will have to gather the Sound Charms again!
Karcasa from the Desert
NPC: The Rememberer, Karcasa
Task: Speak to The Rememberer and he will teleport you to Ariant where Karcasa is.
Reward:
Notes: Pretty much a free teleport to Ariant. This is not compulsory to complete the Ariant quests.
About Mushroom Castle...
Requirement: Level 26 to 36, all users
General Area: Ariant to Magatia desert
Part 1
NPC: Karcasa
Task: Collect 30 Carrots.
Reward:
Notes: You can hunt these from the Brown Sand Rabbits in the map (as well as the previous map). Gather them up and turn them in for EXP.
Part 2
NPC: Karcasa
Task: Collect 1 Pure Water.
Reward:
Notes: Just head to town and purchase a Pure Water.
Part 3
NPC: Karcasa, Camel Taxi
Task: Find Camel Taxi in Ariant desert.
Reward:
Notes: Head one map out of Ariant (direction towards Magatia) and find the Camel Taxi.
Part 4
NPC: Camel Taxi
Task: Slay 40 Meercats in 5 minutes.
Reward:
Notes: Just kill the cats in the map where Camel Taxi is, they spawn easily. You should be able to complete it within half the time at the current level (around 2.5-3 minutes).
Part 5
NPC: Camel Taxi
Task: Head to Magatia desert and speak to Camel Taxi from there.
Reward:
Notes: If you have the patience and time, walk your way to the desert (one map before Magatia). If not, pay 1500 mesos to take the Camel Taxi and enter the middle portal below the Free Market.

Task: Reach Level 30.
Reward:
Notes: This is fairly simple. All you have to do is to train until level 30 and talk to him before/after 2nd job advancement. You can complete his quests too to boost your leveling speed.
*Part 6A-C are optional and can only be activated if you are Level 29 or below.

Starting NPC: Job Instructor/Lirin for Aran
Ending NPC: Head Patrol Officer
Task:
1. Speak to your job instructor (or auto quest on the lightbulb above your head).
2. Receive a Recommendation Letter - Job Instructor.
3. Watch a cut scene and get teleported to Mushroom Castle straight away.
4. Give the letter to Head Patrol Officer.
Reward: 6000 EXP
Notes: Treat this as free EXP and teleport.
The Test
NPC: Head Patrol OfficerTask: Head over to Head Security Officer
Before you may help him, he wants to test you.
He cant use weak people, so he ask you to get 50 Mutated Spore.
Move to the next map and kill Renegade Spores for the items.
If you succeed, you may help to stop the wedding.
1. Speak to Head Patrol Officer.
2. Collect 50 Mutated Spores from Renegade Spores.
3. Return to Head Patrol Officer.
Reward: 11500 EXP
Notes: This quest unlocks lots of quests and is the first to the quest chain.

He knows a way to destroy the barrier.
You will have to help him to make Killer Mushroom Spores to destroy it.

Task:
1. Speak to Minister of Magic.
2. Speak to Scarrs to your right.

Killer Mushroom Spores (1)
NPC: ScarrsTalk to Scarrs
In order to make the Killer Mushroom Spore, he will need 100 Poison Mushroom Caps
So move back into the forest and kill some Poison Mushrooms.
When you have collected 100 of those, head back to Scarrs.
Task:
1. Speak to Scarrs.
2. Collect 100 Poison Mushroom Caps from Poison Mushrooms.
3. Return to Scarrs.
Reward: 13500 EXP
Killer Mushroom Spores (2)
NPC: ScarrsTalk again to Scarrs
He will need also 50 Mutated Spores.
Go back to the Renegade Spores and collect the items.
Task:
1. Speak to Scarrs.
2. Collect 50 Mutated Spores from Renegade Spores.
3. Return to Scarrs.
Reward: 11500 EXP, 1 Killer Mushroom Spore (USE item)
Notes: This quest unlocks two quests, one which continues the quest line, and the other with only one part.
Notes [2]: You can use the Killer Mushroom Spore at "Deep Inside Mushroom Forest" so you will be able to gain entry to the next map for free in the future.
(Extra Quest) Friendship with Bruce
Talk to Scarrs again.
He wants you to give a letter to Bruce in Henesys.
Head over to henesys and give the letter.
Reward: 8,800xp
Killer Mushroom Spores (3)

Go to the barrier, doubleclick on the Killer Spore NEAR the barrier to destory it.
When you passed it, you will have 2 portals. Take the upper one and you will see thorns.
Just like the barrier, an auto-popup will appear and then go back to the scretary.
Task:
1. Speak to Minister of Home Affairs.
2. Go to "Edge of Castle Wall" and head towards the spikes.
3. A chat will appear.
4. Return to Minister of Home Affairs.
Reward: 11000 EXP
Over the Castle Wall (3)
Starting NPC: Minister of Home AffairsTalk again to the secretary.
In order to remove the thorns, u will need a thorn remover.
In order to get the remover, u will need 100 Intoxicated Pig Tails.
Go back when u have all the tails.
Ending NPC: Minister of Magic
Task:
1. Speak to Minister of Home Affairs.
2. Collect 100 Intoxicated Pig Tails from Intoxicated Pigs.
3. Give to Minister of Magic.
Reward: 17000 EXP
Over the Castle Wall (4)
NPC: Minister of MagicMove towards the thorns.
Use the remover to remove all the thorns (Just like the barrier).
When done, go back to the secretary.
Task:
1. Speak to Minister of Magic to get 1 Spine Remover.
2. Go back to the spikes in "Edge of Castle Wall" and use Spine Remover.
3. Return to Minister of Magic.
Reward: 3300 EXP Accces to multiple quests*(Now you can climb it to get inside the castle)
Notes: You can now use this shortcut to reach the castle (instead of the spring which doesn't teleport you to the castle 100%).
Stop The Wedding!
Talk to Mushking.
You need to kill:
-King Pepe / White Yeti
-King Pepe / Gold Yeti
-King Pepe / Grey Yeti
Inside the castle, move right till the end.
Then make a party (2-6 players) and fight the yeti.
(Color is random)
When a party is created, walk into the portal and choose the first option
All colors haves 120.000hp and deal arround 100-400 dmg.
When the boss dies, he will drop 5 boxes.
When one is looted, the others disappear. 1 box for each job.
It contains King Pepe Armor / Weapons ( Higher stats)
The white yeti drops king pepe "magician/warrior/thief/pirate/bowman" box

Sending Provisions (1)
Talk to the officer.
The mushroom camp is almost out of weapons, so you need to get some weapons for them.
You need 200 Destroyed Helmets.
To get these, kill Helmet Pepe inside the castle.
Reward: 17,500xp
Sending Provisions (2)
Talk again to the officer.
They still need more.
Go back to the castle and hunt 200 broken spears. (Dropped by Royal Guard Pepe)
Reward: 17,800xp
James' Whereabouts (1)
The officers brother is lost in the castle.
You need to rescue him.
Talk to James in the tower after map: Skycraper 5
Reward: 6,000xp
James' Whereabouts (2)
James is too scared to leave the tower.
He wants you to get a Pepe Helm (Not the broken one!)
This item is dropped by Helmet Pepe inside the security tower. (Middle tower Skycraper 3)
In order to get inside here, you need a secret key which is obtained by Violetta.
So before completing this quest, first do the otther quests.
Reward: 12,000xp
The Seal of Empire
Talk to the secretary.
The official Seal is lost inside the castle.
Your mission to bring it back!
(First complete other quests to get the seal)
Reward: 22,000xp
Where's Violetta?
Mushking wants you to look for Violetta and rescue her!
Go back to the last tower and choose the 2nd option (Wedding Key required. Quest: Stop the wedding!)
The rescue can only be done solo.
Inside there are some quests:
The Story of Betrayal
Talk to Violetta:
She tells you that the Prime Minister caused this all.
When the chat is done, the minister will auto-spawn.
He has only 8,500hp so its easy to kill.
His drops:
- Royal Seal ( Needed for quest: The Seal of Empire)
- Golden Emblem ( Needed for last quest)
When the minister is dead, you talk to King Pepe.
He must give his crown to you and has to leave ASAP and come never back.
After getting his crown, start the next quest at Violetta.
The Indentity of the Princess
Simply talk to her to complete this quest.
Reward: 7,700xp
Truth Revealed
Tell the story, which Violetta told you, to Mushking.
Also give him the Gold Emblem and Pepe's Crown.
The fight is over and Violetta is save.
Reward: 6,600xp / Mushking's Leather Gloves
(Extra Quest) King Pepe's Scroll
Extra Quest in order to get special scrolls for King Pepe Armor / Weapons.
All other quests must be done in order to get this quest.
This quest is repeatable.
Required to kill:
-200 Renegade Spores
-200 Poison Mushrooms
-300 Intoxicated Pigs
-400 Helmet Pepe
-400 Royal Guard Pepe
Rewards: 4,400xp / Random King Pepe Scroll (Job based)
A: The Helmet Pepe's Helmet is dropped by the Helmet Pepe in the Security Room or any other Helmet Pepe. In order to get inside the Security Room, you must first defeat all three boss colors of King Pepe and Yeti, then save Princess Violetta. She will give you the key to get in.
The Security Room is located in one of the towers of Skyscraper 3. It's in the middle of the map, and has the portal at its door. Once entered, it has a time limit of one hour. The Helmet Pepes are the same. It's a thinner layout, but if one wishes to hunt them for anything else other than Helmet Pepe's Helmet for James, I suggest you go outside.
Q: "Is there any way people under 30 or above 38 can get in?"
A: No. If you attempt to get inside the vine portal, it won't let you in.
Q: "How can I get the monster cards from inside if I'm not inside the level range?"
A: Unless you have already done the whole storyline before you turned level 39, you cannot get anymore cards. If you were already level 39 without doing the quests, the only option for you to possibly get the BOSS cards is through the Maple Anniversary event like last year, where you exchange maple leaves for boss cards.
Q: "How come I can't do the Rescuing Violetta single PQ yet?"
A: You must first do the King Yeti and Pepe party PQ first. Once you have killed all three, you can then finish the quest to proceed on to the Rescuing Violetta single PQ.
